FIELD OF DREAMS BY FWY

The wonderful people at the Fubon Art Foundation commissioned FriendsWithYou to create a massive art piece to cover the façade of the Fubon Financial building in Taipei, Taiwan. As part of the Very Fun Park 2010 exhibition “Field of Dreams” became the focal point of the project and was created as a visual representation of this year's theme “looking up.” As the brilliantly multicolored flowers and bright colors appear on the horizon people are forced to look upwards, to discover that the cloud is smiling and asks you to rediscover the beauty of life. “Field of Dreams” will be on exhibit through July 2011. Take a look for yourself and let us know what you think.

Nike Write The Future

The spot is from Wieden + Kennedy Amsterdam and directed by Alejandro G Inarritu, of Babel and 21 Grams fame. Unlike its blackly humorous trailer, which suggested something more unusual, it is everything you would expect from a (very long) major footy commercial: it's slick, fast and a touch overblown. The spot features football stars aplenty, including Wayne Rooney, Cristiano Ronaldo and Didier Drogba, and is centred around what goes through footballers' minds on the pitch: will they bring glory for their country or devastation?

Kabbalah Vodka

Kabbalah is the newest brand of Russian Vodka created by EZ Protocols. Called “Kabbalah vodka – with Christian infants”. The bottle features an infant inside. This plays off the old wives tale circulated in Europe that Jewish religious rites required the blood of Christian babies. It's definitely an interesting package for a vodka.

Ride Rise Roar

Ride, Rise, Roar trailer from ride, rise, roar on Vimeo.

"Ride, Rise, Roar, is a David Byrne concert film by masterful Hillman Curtis that weaves intimate interviews with amazing concert footage. Hillman said he was drawn to this project initially because it involved one of his favorite musicians ever, David Byrne, and then because of the mixed genre performance concept. David had hired three New York choreographers to choreograph dances to songs, and then brought three modern dancers on the road along with a seven piece band. Hillman was interested in seeing how audiences would react to this wild combo. The result obviously was exhilarating… a real show."

The Sandpit from Sam O'Hare on Vimeo.

Using tilt-shift photography, artist Sam O'Hare created the time-lapse film "The Sandpit" from more than 35,000 pictures taken during a single week last August. With computer editing software, O'Hare manipulated his photos so only narrow planes of focus remained sharp, creating an effect that makes the city look like a model.

Soy mamelle

Packaging concept by Russian agency, Kian:

"The KIAN brand agency took on the process of naming, formulating a creative brand conception, and creating the package shape. Soy milk “Soy mamelle” is a 100% vegetative product. It is a source of high grade fiber and calcium, containing no cholesterol and a proven ability to actually lower cholesterol levels in the human body.

The developed conception of the package shape resembled an udder, which presents the first half of the message in that soy milk is identical to that of a cow. The second part of the message is delivered via the colour score and décor of the packaging, which concentrate on the phytogenesis of the product, creating an image of nature and health.

The packaging is developed with two options, individual and family size. The individual packaging is made out of glass, while the family size option is made of a natural latex material. The legs of the packaging are made of special valves and dose systems which allow the container to fill multiple glasses simultaneously by gently squeezing it. In this case, the process of interacting with the packaging becomes more alive and interesting. This finding has tremendous potential for improvement of brand identity in POS-materials and nonstandard equipment trading."
